History

Based on Cape Cod since 2009 after being in practice for 37 years in Concord, MA, EdesLaw brings knowledge, experience, and efficiency to its clients' matters.  We are a general practice law firm focused on providing the best representation in the most cost effective manner in a small town environment.  

The firm has recently been joined by William Edes, a 2014 graduate of Suffolk Law School and a 2017 graduate of Suffolk Business School, a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.  Will brings the most modern perspectives to both legal and business issues.

William R. Edes

Since being admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2014, William has practiced primarily in the areas of Civil Litigation, Immigration and Trusts & Estates.  During his time as a law student, he honed his legal skills through internships with the Honorable Michael C. Creedon and the Suffolk County, Worcester County, and Cape and Islands District Attorney's Offices.  Additionally, he has since received his Masters of Business Administration further broadening his knowledge and skill set as to corporate matters.

Richmond T. Edes

For more than 46 years, Rich's goal has been to provide the highest quality, cost effective legal representation for his clients by offering the benefits of his extensive knowledge, experience, meticulous research and effective argument strategies. With practical common sense approaches and sound advice, each client receives individualized attention and care to achieve the desired outcomes.

Rich brings a wealth of knowledge in both the law and small town government.  He served as Town Counsel for the Town of Harvard, MA from 1975 to 1992 and was also a member of the City Solicitor and Town Counsel Association, serving on the Executive Committee for three years.  He was also a member and Chairman of the Board of Selectmen in the Town of Concord and served on their Finance Committee as well.
